Oktoberfest Brisbane

Over the past ten years, Oktoberfest Brisbane has grown to become Australia’s largest German Festival! Last year, more than 40,000 culture-seeking enthusiasts descended on Brisbane to experience the celebration of German culture and tradition.

From Schnitzels to Pretzels and everything in between, your taste buds will be set alight while indulging in the authentic flavours and treats the Festival has to offer. Why not start your Saturday morning with a traditional Bavarian Breakfast, allowing you to completely immerse yourself in German traditions and start the weekend off as a true German local?

A spectacular line-up of live entertainment is set to ignite the Oktoberfest tent with music by the Bavarian Oompah band ‘Münchner Buam’, Heidi the Yodeller and Alpenrosen Dance Group.

Kids will find hours of entertainment in the KinderZone, where they can experience a traditional Kasperltheater Puppet Show and be dazzled by countless performances on the Kinder stage. Also, new to this year, kids can enjoy FREE RIDES all day on Sundays!

Feel the urge to join in? Start the training and prep your grooming, the annual Miss Oktoberfest Brisbane, Beardmeister and Bavarian Strongman competitions will be running throughout the Festival, a crowd favourite not to be missed.
