Westfield Coomera Opening

A new era in retail, dining, lifestyle and entertainment will soon arrive on the Gold Coast

Westfield Coomera will open the doors to its $470 million development on October 11.

Westfield Coomera will become the new town centre and beating heart of the booming Northern Gold Coast region. Purpose-built for the community, Westfield Coomera will feature a new dining and entertainment precinct, a carefully curated fashion offering, and casual and market-style fresh food destinations.

Westfield Coomera will also introduce The Backyard, a park catering to the warm weather and active lifestyle of the community. The Backyard is an outdoor urban oasis filled with tall trees, native flora, and bright and colourful art sculptures, featuring kids play zones, scooter circuits for all ages, an interactive billabong for water play, suspended hammocks for relaxation, built in BBQs for communal use, picnic tables and more. The Backyard will be the perfect place for social outings, family leisure time, somewhere to enjoy a BBQ in the great outdoors and a place to host kids parties, with a range of ready to use facilities.

Westfield Coomera will offer 140 specialty retail stores, including Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, Target, JB Hi-Fi, Rebel and Event Cinemas with Gold Class, as well as an impressive fashion retail mix including the likes of H&M and Universal Store.

Light and airy, with leafy courtyards and a true Queensland feel, the dining and entertainment precinct will offer new and first-to-region experiences including Goodlife Health Clubs, Betty’s Burgers, Tapworks Bar and Grill, Beach House Bar and Grill and more.

Entertainment will also be a big part of the retail offer with iPlay Adventure, featuring activities such as Clip N Climb, a high-ropes course and roller-skating. In addition, The Park Coomera from the creators of iPlay will feature a ‘putt-putt meets beer garden’ style venue with full bar and pizzeria, full lane bowling, live music and more.

Parking will be free for the first three hours, as well as for those who enter after 5.30pm or who have a valid disabled parking permit.

Westfield Coomera will open on October 11 with a four-day festival of celebrations including live music, surprise and delight experiences, activations, night time fireworks and more.
